SPIRE Up Onboarding & Rostering Guide

Welcome to SPIRE Up! 

We’re excited to partner with your district on your SPIRE Up implementation. 

Our goal during onboarding is simple: to support your rostering setup and ensure your educators and students can access SPIRE Up smoothly and on time. This guide outlines what to expect during the technical onboarding process, how rostering works, and how we’ll partner with you every step of the way. 

This article is designed to answer common questions proactively and help your district move through onboarding with confidence. 
 

Step 1: Confirm Rostering Method 

We connect with your district to determine the most effective rostering method for your environment. 

You’ll choose from the rostering options supported for SPIRE Up, and we’ll guide you on what’s needed to move forward.

Step 2: Review & Prepare 

We review the information provided by your district to confirm technical readiness and identify anything needed before setup begins. 

This step helps prevent delays and ensures a clean start. 

Step 3: Setup & Rostering 

We prepare your district in EPS Connect and initiate your selected rostering method. 

This includes: 

  • Coordination with your technical contact
  • District setup and licensing 
  • Rostering initiation 

Step 4: Validate Access & Launch 

We confirm that rostering is working as expected and that access is available. 

Onboarding is complete once: 

  • Administrator access 
  • Teachers and students are present and accurate 

At this point, your district transitions to standard ongoing support.
