Reading Assistant Summer Learning Considerations

This article walks teachers and administrators through important questions and considerations for utilizing Reading Asisstant during the summer months. Included are ready to use resources that can support Reading Assistant usage at home.

 

  • Devices - will students be able to bring home their devices or will they be logging in from home devices?

  • Rostering - will you continue to use the same rostering method?  If your district uses Clever or ClassLink, check with your tech department as many districts pause and reset rostering during the summer.
  • Support - who from your district will be available to provide support if families or summer school teachers have questions?
  • August 1 Reset - All data resets on August 1st to prepare for the upcoming school year.  This will impact rosters, reading levels, etc.  For more information, please see Reading Assistant End-of-Year Actions
