Re-License a Class

To prepare for the upcoming school year, Exploros removes licenses from existing classes during the summer. This helps free up seat licenses for redistribution and does not affect the class itself.

What Happens When a Class is Unlicensed?

  • Unlicensed classes do not consume seat licenses.
  • Teachers cannot acess or assign content to unlicensed classes.
  • Existing classes remain available and can be licensed again when needed.

Re-Licensing a Class

If teachers plan to continue using the same classes for the new school year, licenses can be added back at any time by either a district administrator or the teacher.

For Administrators

See: Seat Licenses for Admins in the Exploros Help Center.

For Teachers

See: License a Class in the Exploros Help Center.

After Re-Licensing

Once a class has been re-licensed, teachers can access and assign content and using the class for instruction as normal.
